New Headquarters: Space for innovation and creativity

In late 2023, we moved into new space and are fully settled in by 2024. We now have modern offices where we work and collaborate better. We also have a terrace for communal lunches and comfortable facilities that help us focus on developing innovative technologies.

Stronger product portfolio

In 2024, we expanded our operations and took the Reservatic reservation system under our wing, for which we are planning a series of new products for 2025. Another important step was the consolidation of our position in the field of IT services for the government - with the entry into the Cloud Computing Catalogue, which allows us to continue to provide robust and secure digital solutions also in the public sector.

Most Significant Projects of 2024

One of the most important projects of 2024 was clearly the new mobile application for the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, CHMU Weather, which provides users with up-to-date meteorological data in a clear and modern interface. In the area of administration and attendance, we have commercially embraced the DOPL module from the Hedurio fleet of projects, which facilitates administration and planning for the Municipal Police of Ostrava.

A significant part of our work this year also focused on the development of internal projects. We invested in the ePsychologist platform, which makes expert psychological counselling available to parents and their children. In addition, we have focused on the development of unified e-commerce solutions, where we are able to build a web or eshop in a quick turnaround time, significantly shortening the development cycle and overall implementation. The path of these solutions can be taken by anyone who does not require a customized web/e-shop development and is looking for a rather unified, add-on-rich and affordable solution.

Artificial Intelligence as a key part of our work

AI is no longer just a trend - it has become a regular part of our work processes. In 2024, our focus is on automating administrative activities, working with data and designing smart digital solutions. We actively monitor the development of AI technologies, learn how to use them effectively and help our clients integrate them into their business processes. Artificial intelligence is playing an increasingly important role in our projects and will continue to be a key element in the future.

New collaborations and brand development

We also continued our long-term collaborations and new challenges in the area of commercial IT solutions. For example, the Evocat Lite retrieval system helps to streamline the operation of RBP health insurance branches, while multifunctional Evocat kiosks are finding application in the Lower Vitkovice area, where they make it easier for visitors to navigate the exhibitions and the site.

We have newly established cooperation with a local Internet service provider SilesNet. We created a complete visual identity for this company including a new logo, fleet wraps and billboards. We are also currently handling online marketing to support the brand's digital visibility.

Supporting the next generation of IT professionals

Part of our corporate strategy has been to pass on our experience to the next generation of IT professionals. During the year, we provided several internships to students who had the opportunity to participate in our projects and gain valuable experience. It is worth mentioning that for the third year we have been lecturing and teaching Ruby on Rails in a separate course at the University of Ostrava.

What's in store for us in 2025?

The year 2024 was full of change, growth and new opportunities for Railsformers. We have moved further ahead in custom projects and custom solutions, making us more efficient than ever. We enter 2025 with a clear vision - to continue to innovate, develop our products and offer IT services that really make our clients' jobs easier.
