New website for Wellness Centre Bruntál
Today's visitor expects more from a website than just basic information about opening hours and prices. Especially for wellness services, the first impression, clarity and availability of key information on a mobile phone within seconds often decides the visit. That's why we designed and launched a new website for the Wellness Centre in Bruntál, which is aimed at tourists and wellness enthusiasts. websitewhose main goal is better presentation of services, faster orientation and higher user comfort on all types of devices, mainly on mobile phones.
The original website encountered several major limitations. The biggest problem was the lack of responsiveness on mobile phones, as these are now dominating the search for information about trips, skiing or relaxation. Another weakness was accessibility. The website did not meet the current requirements of the WCAG guidelines, which are now the standard for making content accessible to the widest possible group of visitors, including those with specific needs.
The new website systematically removes these limitations. The change began not only with a visual redesign, but above all with a thoughtful modernization of the structure. Key services and key benefits are highlighted, important information is available at a glance and visitors can access it in a few clicks.
The original solution no longer met the demands for quick content editing, adding news or operational work with the offer. The updated CMS now allows the webmaster to easily change text, photos and page structure, add special offers or news according to the season and marketing needs. This makes it possible to better respond to changes in demand, seasonal events or adjustments to the operation of individual zones.
Initial reactions from visitors confirm that the changes are heading in the right direction. They welcomed the minimalism and speed of the new website. The navigation is more straightforward, the individual steps are logically linked and the content is optimised for quick use "on the move", for example when travelling in the car. Special emphasis has been placed on the mobile view, which has the highest number of visits. The layout, graphic elements and texts are designed to be comfortably readable on a smaller display and to avoid the user having to spend time searching for basic information.
One of the features that makes the new website significantly different is the detailed real-time display of each wellness zone. The visitor can immediately see which zones are currently open, what the pool temperatures are, for example, and what services the centre offers.
Another important part of the solution is the integration with Google Calendar. The webmaster can manage the capacity schedule - the occupancy of the swimming lanes in the pools.
The implementation of the project was carried out over a period of several months, during which the process progressed from the analysis of the initial situation through the design of the structure and user interface to the implementation of a new content management system, the integration of external services and thorough testing on various types of devices. Emphasis was placed on the reliability of the solution to ensure that the website could handle the traffic during exposed periods of the season.
