New GDPR documents and translations
There is still a lot of confusion around the GDPR. The Data Protection Authority (DPA) is publishing new materials that need to be studied. In particular, the documents of the WP29, which has now also published official Czech translations. We will tell you where you can find them all together.
The WP29 Group is an independent European advisory body on data protection and privacy. It is composed of senior representatives of the supervisory authorities of the member states of the European Union. With the entry into force of the GDPR on 25 May 2018, it will become the European Data Protection Board (EDPB). The Board's main task will be to ensure the consistent application of the General Regulation and, to this end, to monitor its application and issue guidelines, recommendations and best practices.
This group has also recently issued official Czech translations of the GDPR documents. The Guidance on the designation of the head of the supervisory authority of a controller or processor, Guidance on data protection officers and Guidance on the right to data portability have thus been published in honour, including Frequently Asked Questions on these topics.
The documents issued by the WP29 explain the new developments in the implementation of the GDPR regulation.
The list of news and documents can be found directly on the OHO website.
