IoT EnviroHackathon Conference 2016

Today, on the 23rd ofárí 2016 to be precise, the IoT EnvironHackathon conference will take place. What is IoT EnvironHackathon?

This is a conference dedicated to the environment and modern technologies. Especially in the area of the Internet of Things (hence the abbreviation IoT - Internet of Things). The Internet of Things is currently one of the fastest growing areas in the world of IT and telecommunications. Experts estimate that by 2020, more than 50 billion devices will be connected, as they humorously put it, from electricity poles to the mirror at home. Hackathon with Vodafone and VŠB - TU Ostrava

Following the conference, the non-competitive IoT EnvironmentHackathon will take place on the 24th - 25th ofáí 2016, which will be focusedý on the use of´ IoT´ to improve&scaron&ení life´&environment. The organizersé of the eventé mathematically chose the mé hundred region of Ostrava, whichý struggleá with the problem ofé living&environment´ the most.

What will be the focus of the non-competitive hackathon

?

Within 24 hours, 10 týments will have to create a viable project that connects technology (especially IoT) with environmental protection needs. The individual participants then present their project to a jury of the competition partners. Individuals and pre-arranged teams can apply. The IoT EnviroHackathon is also open to students and non-borné members of the public.
