What is a Business Development Voucher

This is a voucher that can cover up to 80% of the cost of consultancy and training services. This could be getting your business plan or financial management right, digital business training and much more. However, only service providers from our database, i.e. accredited providers, can be approached for this purpose.

As entrepreneurship often entails significant costs, financial support of up to CZK 500,000 is available for SMEs, not only for the services listed above, but also for the purchase of machinery and equipment, software, construction of new buildings or renovations.

The purpose of the vouchers is to provide support for the creation of new business ventures or for the development of existing projects and activities. This support is mainly aimed at financing the costs associated with the start-up or expansion of production and services, with a view to improving the operation of SMEs.

What is the amount of aid granted?

For natural persons who are not entrepreneurs, the maximum amount of aid is CZK 50 000. For SMEs, support of up to CZK 500 000 is available, with a minimum grant of CZK 50 000. Financial assistance is provided in the form of a grant, which may cover a maximum of 80 % of the eligible project expenditure, or up to the amount permitted by the rules for de minimis aid.

As regards conditions, the following, for example, must be met:

The place of implementation and impact of the project must be in the Moravian-Silesian Region. At the same time, it is necessary that the applicant has its registered office, branch or establishment on the territory of the region (permanent residence in the case of natural persons not engaged in business, place of business in the case of self-employed persons).

The application must be submitted in the prescribed manner and form. The maximum duration of the project is 1 year for SMEs and 6 months for non-business individuals.

The applicant must have a clean criminal record and no conflict of interest. The application must sufficiently describe the use and benefit of the purchased product or service for their business, or in the case of non-business individuals for setting up a business.
