Sponsor gift: an AED for volunteer firefighters in Žulová
On Saturday, January 12, 2019, we officially handed over to the director of SDH Zulova Mr. David Winkler a sponsor gift of an AED machine.
This is a defibrillator that is designed for resuscitation, when an electric shock is sent to the heart of an affected individual, so-called defibrillation. The injured person can then be given professional first aid, which rapidly increases the chances of saving his or her life. This clever device also guides the rescuer with loud spoken instructions, so that even in a stressful situation where every minute is precious, the rescuer knows exactly what to do
