The purpose is to support better employment of students of the University of Ostrava and VŠB-TU Ostrava on the labour market. Thanks to the internship, students will apply theoretical and practical knowledge acquired during their studies. The project aims to strengthen cooperation and prepare students for future careers. Selected students work on real projects under the supervision of a mentor.
One of the participating students will work on backend development in Ruby on Rails and frontend development in React and Next.js. The student will be given an independent design task to tackle from design to implementation, which will allow them to demonstrate skills in all aspects of software development and also participate in peer review processes, sharing their code with other developers and receiving feedback, which is valuable for developing their programming skills.
The second student will work as a SW analyst, gaining practice on real design tasks and learning skills in writing user and technical specifications for SW applications, working with a systems model in Archi. Using ArchiMate will help him/her understand and effectively create and manage architectural models. He will also Create user interface designs for modeled applications that will enable him to understand user needs and implement effective and user-friendly interfaces for these applications.
