New relevancy model on Seznam.cz will improve search results

Seznam.cz will soon launch two new features that will significantly improve search results. The new relevance model and the related result aggregator are expected to bring improvements of up to several percent.

The search engine Seznam.cz plans to deploy a new relevance model in the near future. This will provide better and more accurate (relevant) search results.

The relevance model is designed to correctly evaluate the content of individual web pages in the context of the search query. For queries that the search engine understands correctly, it will return up to several percent better results, according to Seznam.

At the same time, the search engine has also changed the result aggregator. This component takes care of the final selection of search results. The new version will rely more heavily on relevance ranking and will also return multiple results from a single domain if it makes sense.

Would you like to find out if the new relevance model and aggregator will affect your website in any way? Contact us, we’ll look into it together.
