Starting an internship and introduction to the corporate environment
The first few days were dedicated to introducing our new colleagues to the company environment and processes. The students went through an induction training during which they were introduced to all staff, our company culture, and system standards. Gradually, we began to involve the students in specific activities, namely reviewing new websites and monitoring competitor solutions. These tasks in particular required creativity and analytical skills, which the students demonstrated convincingly.
Involvement in projects
During the internship, students were involved in several interesting projects. One of the first assignments was to research and optimise sub-websites for specific commercial projects. These projects allowed them to apply not only their technical knowledge, but also their skills in analysing and optimising the user experience. Other important tasks included document editing and testing of various applications, which are crucial for any project team.
Studying Modern Technology
The other days were dedicated to in-depth study of artificial intelligence and analysis of competing booking systems, both in the domestic market and abroad. This project was a great challenge for the students and an opportunity to learn about current trends and technologies in the field of artificial intelligence.
Testing and Innovation Process
A very important part of the internship was the students’ active involvement in the testing and detection of potential system errors. This included not only monitoring the functionality of our systems, but also evaluating the user experience. The focus was also on potential collaborations and exploring the possibilities of interacting with artificial intelligence within the philatelic industry. This innovative perspective was very inspiring for all of us.
The challenges and benefits of the experience
This internship not only allowed students to develop work skills and industry experience, but also provided important insight into the workings of a corporate environment. Working together has shown us all the importance of collaboration and analytical thinking. We are excited to see how our interns engage and bring their ideas and energy to our work team.
