Czech Radiocommunications (České Radiokomunikace) held an IoT Hackathon on November 11, 2016. The event took place at Impact Hub Brno. Railsformers also took part in the Hackathon in Brno. We are currently focusing on IoT technologies, which have become a priority for us.
How did the Hackathon in Brno go?
The IoT Hackathon focused on presenting ideas and building the most interesting sensor prototype that would communicate over the LoRa network (an Internet of Things network) and would also be able to transmit useful data and use it for specific needs.
After the projects were assessed and the results announced, this was followed by a presentation from ČRa and the competition’s partners about the LoRa network and the current situation in the IoT field, along with interesting facts from the development and manufacturing of sensors and new IoT projects.
The Hackathon was valuable for our company, and we came away with plenty of interesting insights and information. We can look forward to the next Hackathon on November 25 in Prague!
