3… 2… 1… EET! Are you ready for the second wave?

3… 2… 1… EET! Are you ready for the second wave?

On 1 March 2017, the second wave of the obligation to keep electronic records of sales, which includes retail and wholesale, will start. This includes, among others, the category of e-shops, which is important to us and to you. More precisely, all e-shops that accept online payments or allow collection at the point of sale with the option of payment in cash or by card.

How is your e-shop ready? March is knocking on the door! There’s no need to wait for a smooth launch of the electronic sales ledger. Don’t hesitate to contact us and make an appointment so that together we can manage everything carefully and prepare. We have developed a special module to connect the Magento platform with EET, if your e-shop runs on this system, we are fully at your disposal.

The positive fresh information of the last few days is that payment gateways seem to solve the problem of the inability of electronic records for online payment transactions. Until now, it seemed that online payments made through payment gateways would not be able to be registered correctly and in a timely manner by businesses.

An important first step for the implementation of EET is to request and allocate authentication data. Without this data, it is not possible to connect an e-shop with EET. You can apply electronically, exclusively on the tax portal website, via the EPO application form, which must be signed using your data box login details, or in person at any local tax office.

Using the authentication data, it is possible to log in to the web application of electronic registration of sales. Here, after logging in, you register your premises and then generate a certificate for recording sales, which must be installed in the cash register.

If you have any questions or requirements regarding the connection of your e-shop with EET, please do not hesitate to contact us, we will be happy to help you and provide the necessary assistance for a successful, smooth and timely connection of your e-shop with EET.
