We provide GDPR (not only) for Reservatic

We provide GDPR (not only) for Reservatic

The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is the European Union's data protection regulation that came into force on 25 May 2018. It is a revolutionary EU legislation that increases the protection of citizens' personal data. It sets out rules to protect individuals in relation to the processing of their personal data and rules for the movement of personal data. The main purpose of GDPR is to allow people (customers) to control their data.

We at Railsformers s.r.o. already have a certified Data Protection Officer (DPO) who not only oversees internal processes related to the protection of personal data, but also provides his services to Reservatic s.r.o. This company processes large amounts of sensitive data within the Reservatic reservation system. The protection of clients’ personal data is therefore properly supervised from a GDPR perspective.

Based on a GDPR Intro certification course from TAYLLORCOX with international accreditation from the ATO, our Data Protection Officer has gained knowledge in the following areas:

  • Privacy and data protection rules
  • How EU regulations will affect the operation of an organisation from a GDPR perspective
  • How to implement data protection rules and policies to ensure compliance with the EU Regulation

The second certification course further enhanced our DPO’s knowledge in the following areas:

  • Personal Data Protection
  • GDPR legislation and operations
  • Implementing the GDPR Roadmap (DPIA, Process, Regulation, Compliance)

The certified DPO is the central hub for addressing all technology, legislative and process requirements.
