We celebrated another successful year with Whole Czech Republic Reads to Children®!
Time passes like water, and as we enter 2020, we at Railsformers celebrated our second year with Whole Czech Republic Reads to Children®! And it's been a wonderful year full of great events and charity projects that not only put a satisfied smile on our faces, but also made us feel like we were doing something that had real meaning.

The Whole Czech Republic Reads to Children® Campaign
The Whole Czech Republic Reads to Children® believes that through shared reading we can build strong family bonds. But regular reading has a much bigger reach than it may seem at first glance. It is an integral part of a child's personality development, developing imagination, improving memory and aiding learning. In terms of social impact, it is crucial in maintaining a positive relationship between the child and his/her parent. And yet just twenty minutes a day is enough...
It's not just us at Railsformers
The Whole Czech Republic Reads to Children® campaign is a phenomenon that has not escaped anyone, not even successful and well-known media personalities. According to the accompanying records, we know that the campaign has been supported by over eighty well-known people from the world of culture, sports and art. Among the biggest ones we can name Michal Horáček, Jaromír Nohavica, Michael Viewegh, Václav Havel, Alena Mornštajnová, Kateřina Neumannová or Zdeněk Svěrák.
In addition, the Whole Czech Republic Reads to Children® campaign has been awarded the patronage of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic or the United Nations Children's Fund UNICEF.
How did we get involved during 2019?
Like last year, we provided online marketing management and seamless functionality of the website and e-shop for the Whole Czech Republic Reads to Children® campaign. Thanks to the fact that we were able to do what we enjoy and find fulfilling, we also became the main IT support partner for the second time!
Motivating Railsformers
If we talk about the primary motivation that drives us in active cooperation with Whole Czech Republic Reads to Children®, you may be surprised, but it is not the promotion of the corporate brand that you can see in the company's activities on various promotional materials (flyers, banners or brochures), newsletters or social networks.
The main reason for this is that many of us have already become parents and either identify with the campaign's vision or perceive its importance. All the more so when we work in the IT industry, which so often tempts us to isolate not only children, but also us adults.
Finding time to read, which not only improves verbal expressions but also strengthens social bonds in the family we take as very important and we know from our own experience that such work is meaningful.

You can also participate in the Celé Česko čte dětem® campaign and there are several possibilities. You can make a financial donation, sign up to be a volunteer and read to children in hospitals, or simply apply the company's mission to your own children, grandchildren, nephews and nieces. The choice is yours.
