Attention GDPR! Let us help!

GDPR will come into force on 25 May 2018 and the obligations you need to have sorted are many. However, there are three that we are currently able to help you with immediately! And they are the ones you can't do without! The changes primarily affect your websites and e-shops.

1) Edit your consent to cookies and remarketing!

Adjust your consent to cookies! It is necessary to allow users to know what cookies will be used for and give them the option to explicitly disagree with their use. The solution requires changes by individual agreement. Therefore, please contact us and we will prepare everything together.

2) Do you use comparison shopping sites?

If you use product search engines beware! Here you also need to make adjustments. You now need consent from customers to process personal data for the purpose of collecting ratings. This is done typically by a checkbox, which must be implicitly inactive and optional. If you are sending personal data to multiple services for evaluation purposes, you can combine them into one consent form.

The next change will require a modification to the wording of the e-shop terms and conditions in the Customer Verified section. The placement of the wording in the e-shop terms and conditions will be actively checked by Heureka for GDPR compliance. The full recommended wording can be found in this article from Heureka
.
We won't go into details, as the situation again requires an individual approach and solution. So contact us and we will sort everything out together.

3) IT infrastructure audit

Have you got your IT in order and tuned for the GDPR? Are there any holes in it that increase security risks? Do you want to be sure? An IT infrastructure audit is the ideal way to prevent security incidents. We'll map your network, check all PCs and network element settings and check your backups. You'll know exactly where your infrastructure stands and whether you can rest easy or need to take specific steps to improve the security of your company's data.
