How not to get stuck on Seznamu?

We’ve already mentioned the new form of search on Seznam.cz on Facebook. But what does this mean for you or your e-shop in practice? Try a simple thing. Enter a specific keyword that customers type into the search box on Seznam.cz when they’re looking for your product or company. Did you find yourself on the first or second page? Congratulations! More likely, unfortunately, you’ll find yourself somewhere much deeper after the changes that have been made to the search engine.

We tried typing in the keyword: wine. Paid ads appear in the first three positions, followed by a large section devoted to Zboží.cz, a link to Wikipedia, a few links to the biggest players in the market, a section devoted to Firem.cz, and that’s it. Very often there is also a space where images are displayed. So if you don’t have paid advertising – you are probably out of luck, because there are very few positions on the first page! On the second page of the search there is more space for “regular” companies, but not overwhelmingly so. The situation is not much better even if you are more specific and type in, for example: wine tramin 2014.

However, our experience shows that even with a not very expensive investment in well-thought-out and well-chosen marketing on Seznam, your position will improve significantly and the chances of your target group finding you will increase many times over. Even for a relatively small amount of money you can implement interesting marketing campaigns. There are many tricks and tricks. For example, it is possible to target advertising on Seznam in the images section, etc.
